Online Business Systems Hosts Integration Forum 2005

Highlighting Integration Best Practices, Emerging Trends, and Strategies

Minneapolis, Minnesota; Boston, Massachusetts; Toronto, Ontario; Winnipeg, Manitoba – May 27, 2005 – Online Business Systems, an international provider of business and technology consulting and enterprise integration solutions, today announced it will be hosting a series of Integration forums in four North American cities. “Integration Forum 2005: Highlights from the Global Integration Summit” will provide an overview of best practices, emerging trends, and integration strategies resulting from the Global Integration Summit held in Banff, Canada earlier this week (May 23-25).

The Global Integration Summit is a non-vending platform that fosters collaboration between all integration stakeholders and is sponsored by the Integration Consortium (IC). The IC is a global, member-driven, non-profit, leading industry body responsible for influencing the direction of the integration industry. Members champion integration acumen by establishing standards, guidelines, best practices, research, and the articulation of strategic and measurable business benefits.

The Integration Forum 2005, led by integration experts from the IC and Online Business Systems will include presentations from speakers such as: Michael Kuhbock, Founder and Co-Chairman of the Integration Consortium; John Schmidt, SVP of Integration at Bank of America; Mike Sheehy, Strategies, Processes and Competencies Manager at Guidant Corporation; and David Linthicum, Chairman of the 2005 Global Integration Summit and CTO of Grand Central Communications. Kuhbock states, “The forums will offer individuals an opportunity to hear highlights from presentations and case studies that were featured at the Global Integration Summit. As proactive members of the Integration Consortium and Endowment Partners of the Summit, Online recognizes the value that the IC – and in turn the Summit – brings to organizations in any stage of integration maturity.”

These half-day events will also provide an opportunity for individuals to collaborate with experts and peers on how to accomplish integration in practice as well as theory. Other IC members such as Sonic Software and 5by5 Software, as well as regional industry organizations, are strong supporters of the forums and will be participating.
