User Experience Designer

Within my two decades of experience in UX and graphic design I have worked with some of North America’s most recognized brands. I have also helped launch and support several tech startups. My process involves working closely with key stakeholders engineers and users to guide products from conception to launch. I employ an agile build / measure / learn methodology to improve a product’s effectiveness with every iteration. My ambitions are focused on crafting delightful user experiences for technologies that improve how humans live and behave in the world.

Product (Software) Design— including Research, User Experience, User Interface Design, and Product Road mapping.

What is your professional experience?

I’ve been a designer for 20 years. Though I started in the advertising department of a tabloid newspaper and spent nearly five years in a print design and branding agency, I’ve spent most of my career as an interactive designer. I have had the pleasure of working with some of North America’s most recognized brands, including Zynga, Del Monte, Expedia, and North West Co. As a Product Designer I have helped launch and support several start-ups including Havana Controls, Pricerazzi, Kindoma, and Permission Click.

What projects have you most enjoyed working on?

I worked on a large multidisciplinary outdoor park project with Architects, Electrical Engineers, Steel Workers, and Developers that involved the conceptualization of a unique outdoor interactive space.

What are four things I wouldn’t know about you?

I am a boxer (of sorts), Console Gamer (Xbox One), A father of two adorable girls, and a wanna-be graphic novelist.

At Pan Am Boxing Club.

What made you want to work at Online?

Online’s interview process, while lengthy, provided me with an ever increasing sense of the positive work environment they’ve managed to create. I met so many 10+ year Online employees (rare these days) that I had to find out for myself what made this place so special.
