What projects have you most enjoyed working on?
My favorite project was developing a Security Maturity Model for a large global client in the travel industry. It allowed me to take a step back from my normal role of being isolated on one data type of (PCI – Credit Card) and review all data types (Financial, HR, Customer Confidential, etc.). I had to create a questionnaire from different security control frameworks and port them into one subset to determine the maturity of the organization.
Why do clients love Online?
For our RSP practice, it is the simple process of putting the customer first and reacting to their requests in a timely manner. They see us work hard/play hard, while being very nimble to support their goals.
Why do you like working at Online?
One simple word: Culture. Enough said.
What relaxes you?
A porch where I can see either the ocean or mountain ranges while sipping on a early morning coffee or late afternoon/evening wine or other beverage, this seems to relax me the most.
What will we typically find you doing if you’re not working?
Traveling with my family. Because I travel for business, and my wife (who is a teacher) and boys are still in school, we can travel to great destinations in the summers. Last summer, as a family, we were able to spend over five weeks in Europe as I had client meetings which I could wrap or extend around a vacation.
What charities or causes are important to you?
Dyslexia and Learning Disabilities – I have two sons with Dyslexia and as such, this cause is very important to me. Our family was featured on CNN discussing this journey. The schools and assistive technology have been and still are a key reason they have been successful.
