User Experience Architect
What You’ll Do:
- Lead UX teams in applying user-centered design principles to create innovative and engaging digital experiences for web, mobile, tablet, and smart device technologies.
- Direct UX activities on digital projects, including developing overall UX strategies, conducting user research and analysis, creating usability test scenarios, making observations, and conducting interviews.
- Create high-fidelity design artifacts such as annotated wireframes, visual design comps, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate designs to users, stakeholders, and teammates.
- Effectively communicate ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of the design approach.
- Develop holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.
- Advocate for end users throughout the product development process by subjecting early designs to experiments or usability reviews, validating designs, and driving improvements.
- Educate new clients on the benefits of adopting UX and design thinking principles.
What We’d Like:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX leader and designer in highly collaborative product development environments.
- High proficiency in multiple UX disciplines, including interaction design, information architecture, visual design, user research, and front-end development.
- Ability to effectively present and defend design rationale based on brand, business needs, user research, and usability concepts.
- Proficiency with Figma, including creating UI libraries and final designs, and a working knowledge of Prototyping, Tokens, Variables, and Variants.
- Expertise in whiteboarding programs such as Miro and/or FigJam.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to present cohesive design approaches to non-design audiences, including business, product, and technology teams.
- Ability to understand multiple product requirements and scope design work accordingly with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Related degree or diploma in design, HCI, interaction design, psychology, human factors, or computer science.
- Solid understanding of design principles and UX laws, with a strong eye for great design.
