iSecOps Infrastructure Analyst

Our Integrated Security Operations (iSecOps) team is growing! We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst who has a passion for providing excellent customer service to clients. You will work with our clients to understand the structure, policies, and operations of their organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the client to achieve their business goals. Reporting to our Director of Infrastructure Services, you will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. You are comfortable consulting with internal and external stakeholders to determine technology requirements that will support the client’s business goals. You will work out of our Winnipeg office with a fantastic team and may occasionally need to travel.
What you'll do
  • Deliver infrastructure solutions related to various Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure topologies associated with integrated security operations.
  • Provide solutions to our clients through coordinating, assessing, developing, and communicating recovery environment requirements and contingency plans associated with the company’s Data Centers, resulting in recommendations to enable timely, effective decisions regarding data recovery planning.
  • Implement an industry-leading, zero-trust data protection platform to our growing client base and provide expertise and ongoing managed services.
  • Facilitate process design sessions to produce detailed process flows and associated documentation.
  • Interview system stakeholders and record results, requirements, and recommendations.
  • Analyze information to establish recommendations for improvements in system effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure anomalies.
  • Monitor active network and server infrastructure.
  • Respond to client requests based on established SLAs.
  • Engage in other IT and iSecOps business responsibilities to support our dynamically changing business.

What we'd like
  • High proficiency and working knowledge supporting and maintaining Microsoft cloud software and services in M365, Azure, and hybrid environments underpinned by Active Directory Domain Services.
  • 2+ years’ experience delivering Microsoft cloud and/or IT solutions directly for clients, in an MSP environment. Experience supporting and maintaining back-office, desktop, and network Infrastructure components on private and public cloud topologies.
  • Experience installing data center backup and recovery solutions with immutable data protection.
  • Flair and passion for infrastructure security and understanding of the zero-trust methodology for digital information threat protection.
  • Experience with server and desktop operating systems on the Windows, Apple, and Linux platforms for support, maintenance, and disaster recovery purposes.
  • Broad knowledge of IT business issues and processes related to incident management, as well as enabling technologies to support the core business.
  • Experience with networking concepts.
  • Understanding different software development methodologies, including SCRUM/Agile.
  • Experience with a branch of the “Security Lifecycle” to identify, assess, protect, and monitor infrastructure.
  • Microsoft cloud platform or productivity certification to any level of completion preferred.
