Senior User Experience Architect - ON





If you are a product development leader who is passionate about unlocking potential through digital strategy and design, we want to talk to you about joining our awesome Digital Studio. You will foster UX Culture within our Digital Studio team and be an ambassador of culture within the broader Online team. You are a natural design thinker and enjoy working with clients to understand the process of product development and uncover new digital opportunities. Your skills allow you to be hands-on when needed, as well as to guide and peer review the work of others. You are passionate about sharing UX principles, goals, and design processes with others, including clients, business analysts, technologists, and management.
What you'll do
  • Lead UX teams in applying user-centered design principles in creating innovative and engaging digital experiences for web, mobile, tablet, and smart device technology.
  • Lead our UX activities on our digital projects, developing overall UX strategies, performing user research and analysis, creating usability test scenarios, and performing observations and interviews.
  • Create high-fidelity design artifacts such as annotated wireframes, visual design comps, storyboards, and interactive prototypes as necessary to communicate your designs to users, stakeholders, and teammates.
  • Be the end-user advocate during the product development process, subjecting early designs to experiments or usability reviews, validating designs, and driving improvements.
  • Help new customers to understand the benefits of adopting UX and design thinking principles.


What we'd like
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a UX leader and designer in highly collaborative product development environments.
  • High proficiency in multiple UX disciplines, such as: interaction design, information architecture, visual design, user research, and front-end development.
  • Ability to effectively present and defend design rationale based on the brand, business needs, user research, and usability concepts.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch / Figma, InVision Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, and Axure.
  • Related degree or diploma, such as design, HCI, interaction design, psychology, human factors, or computer science.
